    This Colorful fishing village with a fort and old quarter, of narrow streets and pastel buildings, retains its cache of the seventeenth century. The ancient chapel dedicated to fisherman was decorated by Jean Cocteau in 1957.

    Fabled jewel of the Mediterranean. Here the aura of Matisse, Chagall, Leger, Picasso, Dufy,Cocteau, de Steel, Bonnard and contemporary French artists provided eternal inspiration. You will have the opportunity to visit studios and museums dedicated to the masters.


    		 
     Jane Riles

    has a PH.D.in French language and literature. Her enthusiasm for French culture, developed during a ten-year residency in France. She has conducted tours to France since 1980. As Director of a U.S. Study Center in Poitiers and Lyon for 3 years, she organized excursions throughout France for her college students. Jane taught French in the university, public schools and on television. Now she merges her love for French culture and art in annual painting expeditions to France.    		 

    Cathy Ehrler

    is an accomplished artist who has won awards for her paintings throughout the United States. She teaches watercolor classes in Georgia. Since her days as a student in Montpellier, Cathy returns often to France. Her paintings from last summer in Cannes are currently on exhibit in Dawsonville and Atlanta. Through her insight and expertise you will bring back your own treasured memories in personal works of art.

     Accommodations are in La Safranette, a beautiful residence overlooking the Mediterranean. It has a large swimming pool, gardens as tennis courts. The furnished apartments have a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Prices are based on double occupancy and include rental of linens, taxes, and weekly maid service.
